BARLEYWINE ALE AGED IN BOURBON BARRELS AND CALVADOS BARRELS -14.9% ABV
Matured for fourteen months in wheated bourbon barrels before a ten-month finish in French Calvados casks, this delectable double-barrel riff on our beloved barleywine features supple pomme fruit aromatics flanking highly concentrated caramelly malt and American oak. Supplemental fire-toasted French oak produces a perfume of vanilla, toasted almonds, and marzipan while enhancing texture on the palate and finesse in the finish.
